Cyril Duval (born December 31, 1977), who works under the name Item Idem, is a French conceptual artist, designer, and filmmaker. He lives and works in Taipei. Duval studied for six years at the École nationale supérieure d’arts de Paris-Cergy, he moved to Tokyo in 2004. In the same year, Duval was discovered by Sarah Andelman, the creative director of Colette. The Paris-based boutique teamed Duval up with the Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons in Tokyo. Philip Tinari: what can be unburdened by what has been.

Philip Tinari, director, UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, born in Philadelphia, USA. He has lived and worked in Beijing from 2001. He holds degrees from Duke and Harvard. Since coming to UCCA in 2011, Philip Tinari has led its transformation from a founder-owned private museum into an accredited museum across multiple locations, a public foundation, and a family of art-driven enterprises. During his tenure, UCCA has mounted more than seventy exhibitions and thousands of public programs, bringing artistic voices established and emerging, Chinese and international, to an audience of over a million visitors each year.

Lin Zhipeng: when all the light comes to you.

Lin Zhipeng (aka No.223), photographer, born in 1979 in Guangdong, China. He graduated from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies with major of financial English. Lin Zhipeng is a photographer and freelancer writer based in Beijing. Created in 2003, his blog “North Latitude 23” where he published everyday pictures accompanied by short texts received millions views and made him famous among the web community. Presented for years in group exhibitions in China and abroad , Lin’s works have also been the object of several solo shows both nationally and internationally ( Delaware Contemporary Museum ; Walther Collection Ulm ; De Sarthe Gallery Beijing ; Stieglitz19 Gallery Antwerp ; M97 Gallery Shanghai, etc). He has published photography books in China, France, Canada, Japan and Italy.

Pixy Liao: women do have balls … inside.

Pixy Liao, photographer, born in 1979 in Shanghai, China. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Liao received her MFA in photography from the University of Memphis in 2008. Her work is often witty and humorous. She uses her photographs, video and installation to call into question stereotypical contemporary concepts such as the nature of “ the couple,” “the artist,” and the “female experience.” Liao is a recipient of several awards, such as the NYFA Fellowship in Photography, Santo Foundation Individual Artist Awards, and the Madame Figaro Women Photographers Award, etc.

Anouchka van Driel: do not fear time.

Anouchka van Driel, curator, born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.  She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in design from ArtEZ University of Arts and a master’s degree in Visual Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London. Now she works between Beijing, China, and The Hague, the Netherlands. Anouchka has been lived and workd in China for over a decade, developing art and design projects that stimulate dialogue and experimentation between creative disciplines and cultures. She has contributed to the success of numerous creative projects with partners including among others the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Dutch Design Fashion Architecture, UCCA, the City of Amsterdam, and Beijing Design Week.

Christine Low: be a BLESSING, not a BURDEN.

Christine Low, fashion show director, born in 1963 in Malaysia, she currently works and lives in Shanghai. A former model who has been walking the runway in Asia and Europe in late 80s till mid 90s, her footprint in the industry has helped shape and mold her into an interesting soul who has eyes for beauty and ears for all sorts of melodies! She is an all-rounded show director and a pioneer in Show Production field in greater China since 1999, and joined Activation Group in 2011 as a partner in charge of the event division in Shanghai. She is an experienced executive director with numerous experiences overseeing a executive/talent/creative team.

Hung Huang: only stupid people get bored.

Hung Huang, media person and writer, born in 1961 in Beijing, China. She has published magazines such as "iLOOK" and "TimeOut"; hosted TV talk shows "Adults Are Talking" and "Bright Talk"; starred in the film "Perpetual Motion"; founded China's first integrated store for original designer brands, BNC. She has written columns for "Sanlian Life Weekly" and published prose collections such as "My Abnormal Life", "Purposeless Good Life" and "Cheap Philosophy", as well as novels such as "Miss Zhang". In 2011, she was selected as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine. In 2013, she was invited to serve as a member of the board of trustees of Vassar College in the United States. In 2015, she founded a content studio and has been managing her we-media ever since, with accounts on Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu, and a total of 16 million followers across the internet.

Mian Mian: don’t kill yourself, let’s have a drink.

Mian Mian, writer, born in Shanghai, China. She lives in Kathmandu now. In addition to writing, her creative ventures have included contemporary art, electronic music, and film. Her novel and short stories collections been translated into fifteen languages and has been published worldwide. She is the author of the novels Candy, Panda Sex, and Vanishing Act. Her film Short Capitalism was admitted into the film section of Art Basel Hong Kong 2017. In the late 1990s when China’s Internet was booming, Mian Mian’s short stories collection “Every Good Kid deserves Candy” was published. The title of book and the author’s unconventional remarks showed extremely the true nature of a writer. She was artistic and rebellious, which was attracting many young people at the time. Mian Mian expresses her understanding of fiction by describing the night in Shanghai. Her works beautifully and cruelly reveal how globalization affects the lives and identities of the younger generation.

Cheng Ran: make artists rich again.

Cheng Ran, artist, born in 1981 in Inner Mongolia, China. He currently works and lives in Hangzhou. He participated artist residency project in Royal Academy of Visual Arts in the Netherlands in 2013, and founded the art organization Martin Goya Business in 2017. As a representative of China's new generation of video and cross-media artists, Cheng Ran has been experimenting with different art forms, including film, poetry, drama, novels, installations, etc. At the same time, he is also good at integrating art with the public. The 26-screen video work "Always I Trust (2014)" was starred by Carina Lau and was produced by K11 ART FOUNDATION. Li Zhenhua: mi casa es su casa.

Li Zhenhua, curator, born in 1975 in Beijing, China. He currently works in Zurich, Berlin and Hong Kong. Active in the field of contemporary art since 1996, his practice mainly revolves around curation, artistic creation and project management. Currently, he is the curator of light screenings at Art Basel Hong Kong (2014-present), and the recommender of Prix Pictet Photography Festival in Switzerland. He has served as a recommender for the Summer Institute of the Paul Klee Museum in Switzerland, and an international consultant for the British Barbican International Exhibition "Digital Revolution" (2014), etc. Li Zhenhua won the 2015 “Art News Asian Art Contribution Award Annual Curator Award”, and the 3rd Ural Contemporary Art Industry Biennale (2015) curated in 2016 won the Russian Innovation Award Regional Contemporary Art Project Award.
